The Song of Roland underpins the notion of good vs evil and the implication of war. The song has clearly stated that God is omnipresent and he is there in every deed of a human. Not a leaf can even move without his permission and thus whatever action the human does is not without the will of the god and altogether is holy mission. It is to be believed that, God commands and Man acts. Human definitely need the divine presence in order to execute what has been already planned by the god.
